Deep down I was vexed by what Perry had said,
“Nobody sings loves songs anymore?”
I must go home.
I had traveled the world, managed a band, started a record label.
Now this was a different feeling entirely.
There were songs of my own glowing inside and now was the time.
What could it possibly all mean? Was he right? It’s always stuck with me.
HOME!
Late nights with Federico Aubele…helps me hear and shape these sincere and golden “love songs”.
I sing them alone.
All up and down the road.
There is no direction just exploration.
But life and time change everything.
No longer a man alone.
This Sunwolf becomes a band.
A band of marauding miscreants.
Depending on the hour, we are in love, out of love, ecstatic, or melancholic but always searching for the next sound.

So its December 22nd and we are still here. In honor of that, we shall share something we did for a DC Setlist [ http://www.facebook.com/DCSetlist ] holiday themed song thing they do every year. Last year we did the Dredel Song. This year Tom wrote a song about what happens when you pick up a hitchhiker who turns out to be the one and only Baby Jesus! Danny was out of town, so our favorite Lowry organ filled in with its best Danny impression.

We have two shows this weekend!

Saturday sometime between the hours of 1pm and 4pm you can catch us playing a free party for the DC Rollergirls Championship Bout!!! We are playing with Toy Store Riot. We play in Lot 3 and its a big tailgating party. After that we go and watch the Derby!!!
